 * The Poet is talking about the crocodile that lives in the river Nile.

 * The crocodile pours the water on its body so that it shines and can look attractive for the fishes he want them as prey.

 * The crocodile cheerfully grins and smiles, but behind that it is a fake smile to attract the fishes.

 * He neatly spreads his claws and wait for the right moment to catch the little fishes that swim near him.

 * The poem is of PARODY - A Parody is an imitation of writing a drama/music by mocking the original in an amusing way.

 * Facts - The Madras Crocodile bank is the one of the Largest reptile zoos in the world. Its also a safe nesting beach for Olive Ridley Turtles. It is located in ECR, Kovalam, Chennai.
