 GIST :

* Black Rhinoceros - plains of Africa- has very poor eyesight, bad temper. Hunted for Horns, as people think it has magical powers- so placed in endangered list of animals.
* Elephant hunted for its Ivory tusks.
* People have started to occupy more of land, So cheetah is too becoming extinct.
* People careless about land = Endangered species
* Grizzly bears wander upto 1500 sq.miles... so no area for them to wander -people occuption and forest clearing.
* Red wolf and American crocodile- endangered animals in North America.
* Howler monkey,three-toed sloth- endangered in South America due to destruction of Rain forest.
* Green Macaw, Golden Parakeet- exotic pets.
* Giant Panda- only 1000 living in wild- Bamboo forest destruction leads to extinction of Pandas.
* Exotic snow leopard hunted for sport.
* Blue whale- 3,90,000 pounds extinction due to pollution and hunting.
* Also removing the animals from their natural habitat and taking home as pets, destroy them.
