GIST OF THE STORY

In Delhi , there lived a merchant named Hirachand. It was said that if anybody saw his face would go without food for a day. So the great king Akbar wanted to test this.
Next day, Hirachand was brought before Akbar, when Akbar was about to take his food. But soon the King was summoned to meet his wife as she was feeling ill. When he returned to take his food, the food went cold and it took more time to cook hot food. And now the King got ill too and the Doctor said him not to have anything for the whole day as he was sick.

Akbar thinks this as the fate of Hirachand’s face and orders him to be executed. Birbal hears this and ells hirachand something.

Hirachand meets Akbar, and tells Akbar’s fate is more worse than his. As hirachand is going to be executed after seeing Akbar’s face. Now Akbar realizes his mistake and give gifts to hirachand and appreciates Birbal for saving an innocent man.
